Jac. Vandenberg imports the white seedless “Festival” grape variety from Brazil in addition to the popular Thompson variety. Similar to a Sugraone, Festivals are of outstanding appearance and quality and arrive by vessel in the U.S. from October through December, although climate conditions provide that they can be grown year round. They help Jac. Vandenberg fill a seasonal gap between Californian and Chilean grape arrivals.
